DAILY RITUALS
Rituals create the architecture of intention, shaping space, focus, and energy before any real ‘doing’ begins. In my work, I teach people how to use ritual not just for grounding, but for expansion—for enriching their business, deepening their creative process, and aligning their inner rhythm with the outcomes they’re truly seeking.
— Michelle Burk, founder & head threshold designer, HASTA Designworks
How are you feeling today?
Proactive
A ritual to enhance your momentum while anchoring your direction
STEP ONE
Light Tap + Verbal Commitment: Gently tap your sternum three times while saying aloud: “I move forward with intention.”
STEP TWO
Name the Day’s Threshold: Write down one threshold action that would shift today from passive to directional (e.g., sending the email, starting the file, making the call).
STEP THREE
Create an Obstacle Sigil: On a small piece of paper, draw a symbol that represents what you don’t want to carry into the day. Fold and put it away.
RESULTS
Energy locks onto a singular action path. Mental clutter recedes. You feel composed, directional, and focused on movement, not perfection.
Creative
A ritual to channel your raw energy into a focused pulse
STEP ONE
Build the Threshold: Choose three sensory elements—a scent, an object, and a sound—and place or activate them around you. This is not ambiance. This is architecture.
STEP TWO
Mark the Entry: On a fresh page or surface, write or draw the first image, word, or shape that comes to mind without filtering. Then place your dominant hand over it and whisper, “You are the opening.”
STEP THREE
Make Something You Cannot Explain: For the next 7 minutes, make something: not for clarity, not for sharing, but for the field itself. It might be illegible. It might not be “you.” That’s the point.
RESULTS
You cross the threshold from ordinary time into creative ritual space. The act of making becomes less about output and more about channel. You return with a pulse, a fragment, a flame
Anxious
A ritual to temporarily soften the edges of what's going on, and come back to center
STEP ONE
Temperature Reset: Hold something cool in your hands (metal, water glass, stone) while inhaling for 4 and exhaling for 8.
STEP TWO
Whisper Your Name + Year: Say aloud: “I am [your name]. It is [year]. I am here.” Repeat 3x slowly.
STEP THREE
Do One Micro Task With Full Attention: Make tea, organize one corner, or move your body gently. Let it be small, but full.
RESULTS
The nervous system downshifts. Time slows. Your sense of overwhelm transforms into quiet clarity and embodied presence.
Generous
A ritual to ground your generosity in something tangible
STEP ONE
Close Eyes, Picture the Recipient: Visualize the face or energy of the person, cause, or field you feel pulled toward.
STEP TWO
Name the Gift: Speak aloud what you are offering—time, words, presence, money, attention—and why it matters. Need ideas?

STEP THREE
Offer It Actively: Send the text, make the donation, start the note, say the prayer. Don't delay the transmission.
RESULTS
Generosity becomes activated rather than abstract. You feel fuller, not emptied—aligned in contribution with immediate emotional resonance.
OFFERING
If you're feeling super generous, you can make an offering to help keep the Limen Codex up and running: (make an offering)
Uncertain
A ritual to bring coherence to ambiguity
STEP ONE
Draw a Line With Your Finger: On any surface (table, skin, air), draw a long, slow line. Say: “There is a thread.”
STEP TWO
Name Three Truths: Speak three things that are definitely true right now (e.g., “I’m in this room. It’s morning. I am breathing.”)
STEP THREE
Flip a Coin (or Random Generator): Ask a question, flip the coin, and then notice how you feel about the result: that’s your real answer.
RESULTS
Confusion turns to symbolic clarity. The act of making a micro-decision reveals your subconscious wisdom. You move from fog to form.
Confident
A ritual to lock in your frequency and expand it outward
STEP ONE
Seal the Room: Close all doors. Turn your phone face-down. Stand in the center of your space. Say aloud: “Nothing enters that does not serve.” Hold that vibration in silence for 15 seconds.
STEP TWO
Write the Undeniable Line: Take out a single card, sticky note, or piece of paper. Write a sentence that you know is true about your impact or vision. No humility. No metaphor. Sign it. Fold it. Keep it.
STEP THREE
Drop the Signal: Send or schedule one ripple that asserts your presence: a message, a post, a meeting request, a prototype, a declaration. Do it with zero explanation.
RESULTS
Confidence crystallizes into action. Your body, voice, and behavior align. You feel witnessed, first by yourself, then by others.
